Photography is how I interpret the things I enjoy or that fascinate me. These can be plants, flowers and trees, or things I find on the beach, or glass objects, or shadows and reflections ā¦ or a different subject altogether that stirs my imagination.
I am increasingly drawn to abstract and emotional responses to the world around me, using techniques such as intentional camera movement and multi-exposures.
Words have been at the heart of my working and creative life so it has been a joy in the last 10 years to discover and develop my approach to image making, as it has enabled me to communicate in a visual way, too.
Iām lucky to live on the north Kent coast with the sea, open countryside and numerous woods on my doorstep.
